Can United pull it back this season? It’s a question I’m still trying to answer. What’s been going well this season? Rasmus has shown to be a great signing but he’s still very ripe as a player but shows a lot of promise as he never stops trying and presses like an absolute maniac. End product is yet to be properly established but that will come with time as he’s such a young player. Bruno Fernandes has been the most consistent player for United in the last 5 years. The amount of times he saves us, never stops running and how he can control a game. What makes him great also poses as a negative. He wants to win so bad that he’ll get frustrated and will make senseless challenges, he plays a lot of risky balls which do pay off but also lead to counters and wastes of possession. He’s had a couple bad games this season but that’s to be expected as it’s nearly impossible to be as consistent as he has been. Rashford has been shocking. I love him as a player and want him to do so well but he ne...

For a team that has found so much glory in the historic Champions League, United currently have a record of 1 win and 3 losses. I cannot exclaim how poor this is. We have 1 win and 3 losses. It’s ridiculous and it shouldn’t be the case at all. I have watched every single Champions League fixture that United have played so far and it is truly upsetting to watch. The last match United played in the UCL really questioned my love for the club. The game ended 4-3 to Copenhagen. United had a 2-goal lead led by Rasmus Højlund and everything was looking great. The goals were scored beautifully, and things were actually starting to look up. Unfortunately for United, that’s when things go down, every time. It all started with an extremely controversial red card for Marcus Rashford which I believe to be poor decision as the same tackle was committed by Liverpool on the weekend and they only received a yellow card. It sounds crazy, but there is an obvious distain for United ...

With such a great week of football we’ve had recently, we now go into the international break which is a bit of a let-down. However, this time can hopefully be used for United to recuperate and prepare for the incoming match and game weeks. United are forced to fight an uphill battle for the champions league as it will be a huge embarrassment to not get into the round of 16, especially with the group we have. The league is also still in very actively in play as United go into the international break with a record of 7 wins and 5 losses. Placed at 6 th , United trail Aston Villa, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City who are all having spectacular season so far, especially Aston Villa and Tottenham. Looking at all these teams with newly introduced managers this season and then looking at United is very tough for a United fan as these managers have come in and produced instant results with a style of football that is exciting and allowing the players included to flourish. Wh...

Manchester United played Luton earlier this weekend and what a game it was. Even though the opposition was Luton, the expectations of United this season continued to drop down, however in this game United showed everyone what they can really do. United controlled possession, they counter attacked amazingly and pressed extremely well. Rasmus Højlund has not scored his first premier league goal yet but the effort he portrays on the pitch is exactly what United need. Many questioned the price tag on the forward from Denmark, however he gives nothing but 110% effort on the pitch and that is something not only everyone can admire but respect. Rasmus was extremely unlucky as a brilliant save by Kaminski leaves his premier league goal tally still at 0. Rasmus is no way at fault, he’s not getting enough service and it clearly shows at the club. The same thing happened with Cristiano Ronaldo (One of the biggest legends in United history and one of if not, the greatest player ever) as he was sav...
