With such a great week of football we’ve had recently, we now go into the international break which is a bit of a let-down. However, this time can hopefully be used for United to recuperate and prepare for the incoming match and game weeks. United are forced to fight an uphill battle for the champions league as it will be a huge embarrassment to not get into the round of 16, especially with the group we have. The league is also still in very actively in play as United go into the international break with a record of 7 wins and 5 losses. Placed at 6^th, United trail Aston Villa, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City who are all having spectacular season so far, especially Aston Villa and Tottenham. Looking at all these teams with newly introduced managers this season and then looking at United is very tough for a United fan as these managers have come in and produced instant results with a style of football that is exciting and allowing the players included to flourish. When is this going to happen for United? I understand it is an extremely difficult job with a poor infrastructure to work with, but the recruitment needs to be a lot better. That’s the difference I believe. United waste money and have a history which allows teams to exploit them in situations resulting in United overpaying for nearly every player. I don’t know what to expect from United the next game as whenever the expectations are high, they will let you down and that has been the case for many years. It’s a difficult time being a Man United fan nowadays. The thing that gets me the most is when the players stop trying and give up, its unforgivable and gives the fans no hope.
